Chillicothe has two members of their three-woman team in the District Semi-Finals today (Saturday).
The two-day tournament at Mid-Buchanan started Friday night and will continue through today, starting at 10:00am.
At 112 pounds Abigail Clements received a first round bye and beat a Mid-Buchanan wrestler by pin in 1:00. Clements faces a Benton wrestler in the semi-finals.
at 132 pounds Addison Lewis received a first round bye, lost to a Marceline wrestler by pin in 1:15 and received a bye in the wrestlebacks. She will face a Kearney wrestler next.
At 137 Karyna Ireland received two byes in her bracket. She faces a Cameron wrestler in the semi-finals. There are only five wrestlers in her weight class.
In the team standings, Chillicothe is tied for 12th out of 25 teams.
