A single-vehicle accident in Caldwell County left a Cameron woman with serious injuries. Twenty-year-old Leda Powell of Cameron was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center following the accident on US 36, a mile west of Kidder. The accident happened Monday at about 11:05 am and according to the report, Powell was a passenger in the vehicle driven by 37-year-old Joshua Rauber of Cameron. Rauber was westbound on US 36 and lost control. The vehicle spun and came to rest in the ditch. Rauber was not injured.
