There are only a few days remaining in February and the Assessment Lists that were mailed at the start of the years are due to be returned to The Livingston County Assessor’s office by March 1 or a PENALTY MAY APPLY. Assessor Steve Ripley encourages everyone to get their lists returned to his office before the deadline.
If you have not received a list or your list was misplaced you are asked to PLEASE stop by the Assessor office to obtain a new list…If you are new to the County as of January 1st you need to be added to the assessment tax roll.
Ripley states that only about 60% of the list mailed have been returned to the office.
