Livingston County Sheriff’s Report

Several arrests are reported by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department.

March 3rd,  Shannon L. Buss was stopped in Chillicothe by a deputy, on a fugitive investigation.  Buss was arrested on a Livingston County warrant for alleged Violation of Bond Conditions.  Sheriff Steve Cox says further investigation revealed evidence that deputies suspected of containing drugs and other items, inside an object commonly used to conceal controlled substances inside a person’s body.  Buss was claiming she was about to go surrender to the jail on her outstanding warrant.  She was arrested and processed for an alleged attempt to smuggle a controlled substance into a jail facility.  Buss was taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail on the warrant.

February 19th, deputies stopped a vehicle near Highway H and US 65.  The stop resulted in the arrest of 22-year-old Dylan Eugene Sayers of Ethel MO on a Linn County warrant for alleged Failure to Appear in Court on a misdemeanor charge of stealing.  The report states further investigation resulted in a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Sayers was taken to Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail in lieu of bond.

Sheriff Cox says they made a couple Most Wanted arrests.

February 26th, 25-year-old William Rex Long of Trenton was arrested by Grundy County authorities on a Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Probation Violation.  Bond set at $20,000.  Long had surrendered to Grundy County authorities.

March 1st, 23 year old Cameron Allen Carmack of Norborne was arrested by Carrollton Police on Livingston County Probation Violation warrant.  Bond was set at $20,000.
