Flood Warnings On The Grand River

A Flood Warning is issued for Portions of the Grand River.

At Pottonsburg, the river rose above flood stage of 25 feet Monday, cresting at 26.87 feet The flood warning for Pattonsburg has ended as the river is now at 23.7 feet and falling.

At Gallatin, the river crest of 27.3 feet and is beginning to fall.  The latest reading is 26.78 feet.  The river is expected to fall back below flood stage of 26 feet this afternoon.

At Chillicothe, the river rose above flood stage of 24 feet Monday afternoon and is expected to crest at 27.5 feet this morning.  The current reading is 27.3 feet.  Flooding is expected to continue into Wednesday afternoon.

At Sumner, Moderate flooding is occurring.  The river rose above flood stage of 26 feet Monday evening and is expected to crest Wednesday morning at 32.2 feet.  The latest reading is 31.65 feet.  Flooding is expected to continue until Friday morning.

At Brunswick, the river is well below flood stage of 19 feet.  It is expected to rise to a crest of 19.2 feet Thursday morning, and fall back below flood stage later in the day.
