Grand River Flooding Into The Weekend – Update

The National Weather Service revised the Flood warnings for portions of the Grand River.

At Pattonsburg and Gallatin, the river is no longer expected to rise above flood stage as we head into the weekend.

At Chillicothe, the Grand River is expected to rise above flood stage of 24 feet Thursday afternoon.  The river is expected to crest at 25.5 feet and falling back below flood stage Friday morning.

At Sumner, moderate flooding is occurring and the river is expected to remain at the moderate level, rising to a crest Friday night of 33.9 feet.  Flood stage at Sumner is 26 feet.

At Brunswick, the river is expected to rise above flood stage of 19 feet this afternoon, with minor flooding expected and a crest of 22.7 feet Saturday night.
