A two-vehicle accident in Sullivan County Saturday left two injured. State Troopers report the accident happened about 10:50 am on Missouri Highway 6 near Milan. According to the report, a 16-year-old from Kansas City was westbound and stopped in traffic, waiting to make a left turn, when they were struck from behind. The 16-year-old was not injured.
The driver of the other vehicle, 21-year-old Hailey Ayers of Green City, and her passenger, 18-year-old Allison Brown of Green City, were both taken to Sullivan County Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. They were not wearing safety belts.
