The Chillicothe Police Department report for Wednesday includes reports of barking dogs, parking complaints, and well-being checks.  Some of the 102 calls include:

11:21 am, A call reporting an attempted scam on the phone.  The Chillicothe Police Department reminds people there are people that may call representing themselves as the Social Security Administration.  They may say you are required to give them and confirm your personal information.  The Chillicothe Police Department says “DON’T GIVE YOUR INFORMATION OUT OVER THE PHONE.  IT’S A SCAM.”  Social Security will not call you for your information!  Some area residents are receiving calls where the callers are stating that there are warrants for your arrest.  HANG UP YOUR PHONE!!!!!!

11:49 am, officers investigated a report of walk-away from a home in the 1200 block of Sunset Avenue.  The person was located, OK, and transported to their residence.

12:17 pm, Officers responded to a request to check well-being in the 200 block of E. Polk Street.  Officers checked the location and called the Division of Family Services.  Investigation continuing.
