An accident in Carroll County Sunday afternoon left two injured and one person in custody.
State troopers report at about 4:10 pm a single-vehicle accident happened on Route D, near County Road 180, when 46-year-old Anthony Chamblee of Brunswick was northbound and ran off the right side of the road. The vehicle struck the ditch and overturned, coming to rest on the top.
Two passengers were injured. 41-year-old Angela Holliday of Brunswick had moderate injuries and was taken to Carroll County Memorial for treatment. 62-year-old Wilma Todd of Brunswick had minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene.
Troopers arrested Chamblee for alleged DWI and failing to drive on the right side of the road, resulting in the accident. He was processed and released.
