The Missouri Department of Transportation has plans for roadwork projects several years out and will meet with local officials to discuss some of the work as the plans get closer. Livingston County Presiding Commissioner Ed Douglas recently met with Area Engineer Michael Mariott to talk about some of the local projects. Douglas says that will include sidewalks.
Another project that is a few years out is resurfacing of US 65 from Chillicothe to Carrollton. Douglas says he understands that is currently scheduled for 2024.
