The Chillicothe Lady Hornets used a free kick and defense to edge Savannah in Girls Soccer 1-0.
Julia Stimpson scored the lone goal off an unassisted free kick in the 17th minute.
Goalkeeper Allie Italiano had six saves. Coach Jimmy Chapman said his Lady Hornets “Battled some adversity and won ugly.”
The JV won 2-0 with goals from Alice Hurtgen and Hailee Williams
