Chillicothe Man Gets Lifesaving Award

A Chillicothe man was presented a Lifesaving Award for actions he took on Valentine’s Day. Sheriff Steve Cox says Sunday, February 14th was a very cold day, with the temperature being zero degrees and consistently minus 9 degrees wind chill around 8:30 am. Cox says fortunately Eugene Meyer of Chillicothe was out and for what he described as unknown reasons, slowly drove down a rural county road that he seldom ever travels.

Sargent Woelfle presented Eugene Myer with the lifesaving Commendation at the Sheriff’s Office.
