The Trenton Bulldogs were the big winners in the Kirksville 3-team “under the lights” tournament. The Bulldogs won the team competition and several individual awards.
Chillicothe did have some great performances. Chace Corbin won #1 singles with an 8-1 win over Trenton and an 8-1 win over Kirksville. He teamed up with Emmett Young to win #2 doubles with a 9-8 win over Trenton, winning the tiebreaker 8-6 and an 8-3 win over Kirksville.
Caleb Corbin and Carter Allen lost to Trenton and Kirksville at #1 doubles
Gabe Peterson and Shayden Hawkins lost to Trenton and beat Kirksville
In singles: Caleb Corbin lost to Trenton and beat Kirksville. Carter Allen, Gabe Peterson, Emmett Young, and Shayden Hawkins each lost both of their singles matches.
