Council To Consider Housing Sheriff’s Office At The Police Department

An agreement to house the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department at the Chillicothe Police Department is on the agenda for the Chillicothe City Council.  The meeting is Monday at 6:30 pm at the CMU office.

The agenda begins with a bid for a pick-up for the Chillicothe Fire Department.

The City Administrator will have recognition of the Department Heads.

An ordinance will be presented to make the final adjustments to the 2020/21 City Budget to actual figures.

Ordinances will be presented for additional engineering services for the street projects and a survey of the industrial park.

The final ordinance is an agreement between the City and Livingston County, for the city to house the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department at the Chillicothe Police Department.  Current tenants at the Chillicothe Police Department (the economic developer and driver’s license examiner) would move to the Sheriff’s Office.  The move is to better utilize shared resources.
