The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 95 calls for service Tuesday. Those calls include:
1:26 a.m., Officers arrested a 32-year-old man in the 10 block of N. Washington St. on a Livingston County warrant for possession of a controlled substance. He was taken to the Daviess-DeKalb County Regional Jail with no bond allowed.
8:44 a.m., Officers took a report of littering/illegal dumping in the 200 block of S. Washington St. A suspect was identified and charges are pending.
8:52 a.m., Officers took a report of an assault in the 1500 block of Calhoun St. The investigation continues.
6:25 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a possibly neglected dog in the 700 block of Highland St. Officers contacted the owner, who advised the dog has a medical condition and was not being neglected. Officers were assisted by Animal Control.
8:25 p.m., Officers responded to a possible illegal burn in the 300 block of Samuel St. The fire was extinguished by the Chillicothe Fire Department.
