Livingston County Sheriff’s Report

The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department report includes several arrests and incidents.

Incident Reports:

April 16th, a deputy responded to a single-vehicle accident on Highway 190.  The person had contacted a ride.  That individual arrived and a deputy had recently cited that man for no valid driver’s license but the man claimed he has since obtained his license.  A check through dispatch showed the man only had a learner permit and no licensed driver with him.  The driver’s vehicle also reeked of marijuana.  The man was issued citations for no valid driver’s license and possession of drug paraphernalia.

From The Most Wanted List:

April 23 Gallatin Police arrested 38-year-old Franklin A. Holcomb on a Livingston County warrant for alleged Probation Violation on a charge of Non-Support.

April 24 authorities in the Mississippi arrested 35-year-old Stephanie Jane Johnson on a Livingston County warrant for alleged Stealing Motor Vehicle Johnson will be extradited at the first opportunity.

Added To The List:

April 28, 39-year-old Dawn R. King, wanted on Livingston County warrant for alleged Failure to Obey a Judge’s Order on an original charge of Possession of Controlled Substance.

April 28, 40-year-old Gaylord D. Humphrey of Trenton, wanted on Livingston County warrant for alleged Probation Violation on a charge of Possession of Controlled Substance.

Other Arrests:

The evening of April 24th, deputies on US 36, west of Wheeling, checked a car at 90 in a 65 zone.  When the deputy attempted to stop the vehicle the driver sped up and fled at an extremely high rate of speed.  The deputy terminated the pursuit and notified authorities in Linn County, who got the vehicle stopped.  The Livingston County Deputy arrived and took 30-year-old Terrence A. Turner of Illinois to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.  The investigation shows the female passenger told law enforcement she demanded the driver stop multiple times but he did not.  Turner was charged with the alleged Resisting Arrest – creating Substantial Risk of Serious Injury or Death to Any Person.

April 28th,  Deputies located and arrested 20-year-old Corey Jay Michael Gibson of Chillicothe on Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Probation Violation on a charge of Assault.  Gibson was found in possession of alleged Methamphetamine and Methamphetamine Drug Paraphernalia.  He was taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
