Chillicothe Police Report For Monday

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 95 calls for service Monday.  Some of the calls include:

1:09 AM, One of the detectives was contacted by phone of a possible sex crime that had occurred in Chillicothe.

8:01 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of South Washington for vehicle break-ins. The investigation continues. If you have any information on this, contact the Police Department.

11:45 AM, Officers responded to the 500 block of South Washington for a possible counterfeit bill. The bill was retrieved for further investigation.  The Chillicothe Police Department urges businesses to train employees on the identification of counterfeit bills.

5:40 PM, Officers were called to the 600 block of Webster Street for a subject threatening to shoot his neighbor. Officers surrounded the area and were able to talk the man out of his apartment without incident. The man threated to shoot the neighbors and police if they came to his home.  He was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold pending several charges, including burglary, harassment, and armed criminal action.

7:09 PM, Officers responded to the 1000 block of Graves Street for a person threatening employees of the business.  A man was arrested and taken to the police station. He was processed, cited and released.
