Reeter Sets Soccer Record

Chillicothe’s Lucy Reeter set a Chillicothe Lady Hornets Soccer single game record with six goals in a 7-1 win at St Joseph Benton. Reeter scored four in the first half: off a Juliann  Gabrielson assist in the 9th minute, unassisted in the 17th minute, off another Gabrielson assist in the 28th minute and off a Delanie Kieffer assist in the 31st  minute.
In the second half Benton scored their lone goal  in the 44th  minute. The Lady Hornets Gabrielson scored off a Makayla Vance assist in the 52nd  minute. Then it was back to Reeter with an unassisted goal in the 56th minute and off a Alice Hurtgen assist in the 70th minute for the final score.
Allie Italiano had eight saves in the game.
Chillicothe Coach Jimmy Chapman said he was proud of the energy and intensity his team had in the match.
He said the team  controlled a lot of the game and were able to convert on their chances.
The Chillicothe Junior Varsity won 3-0 with Avery Baxter scoring once and Hailee Williams scoring twice.
