Chillicothe Police Report For Wednesday

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 102 calls for service Wednesday.  Some of the calls include…

1:06 am, Officers were assisted by the Children’s Division in finding placement for a juvenile whose parent would not cooperate in the care of the subject by picking the child up from a business in the 1000 block of S. Washington Street.  Charges of neglect of a child are pending on the parent.

10:30 am, Minor two-vehicle, non-injury accident in a parking lot in the 1300 block of N. Washington Street.  The accident occurred as the vehicle was pulling from the parking space and failed to see the passing vehicle.

2:07 pm, Report of several dogs running at large in the 400 block of Waples Street.  The owner was contacted and issued several citations for the dogs running at large.

3:16 pm, Officer out at home in the 1400 block of Bryan Street to advise the owner of a restricted breed of dog that they have ten days to remove the dog from the city.  Officer was approached aggressively by the animal in question.  The owner was advised of violation.

4:05 pm, A person came to the Police Department to speak with an Officer.  That person had an arrest warrant from Linn County.  They posted bond and were released.

4:40 pm, Officers out in the 2600 block of N. Washington to serve Livingston County warrant on 28-year-old.  The person was transferred to Daviess/DeKalb County Regional Jail.

6:21 pm, Officer picking up narcotic paraphernalia from the parking lot in the 1000 block of Graves Street for proper disposal.
