Continued Training For Sheriff’s Office

The staff of the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department attended a variety of training program in the past several weeks.  Sheriff Steve Cox says the training helps the department in their goad to provide well trained and experienced staff to serve the community.  Training in April included:

  • Livingston County Sheriff’s staff received training on Recognizing and Responding to Domestic Violence.
  • Deputy Jennifer Plummer attended advanced training on child sex offense investigations.
  • Dustin Woelfle attended the Missouri State Highway Patrol Training Academy in Jefferson City for a week-long course on First Line Supervision.
  • Chief Deputy Michael Claypole completed training on Community Policing.
