A Laclede man has serious injuries following an accident in Carroll County Monday afternoon. Thirty-year-old Nelson H Fay of Laclede was taken to Carroll County Memorial Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. State Troopers report the accident happened on US 24, when 18-year-old Brandon D Stoner of Norborne was southbound and failed to stop at a stop sign, pulling into the path of the eastbound vehicle driven by Fay. The collision caused both vehicles to come to rest off the right side of the road. The Fay vehicle caught fire and was completely burned Stoner was not injured in the accident.
