After a season cancelled due to last year’s COVID pandemic, the Chillicothe Mudcats Baseball season begins Wednesday at Shaffer Park.
New to the Mudcats is Head Coach Tyler Hudlow, who says he is familiar with Chillicothe and the Mudcats tradition.
Hudlow replaces former Coach Caleb Bounds who accepted a new collegiate coaching position that requires him to be there year around. Bounds had asked Hudlow to be a Mudcats assistant in previous seasons, but Hudlow was unable to accept due to prior commitments.
The Mudcats open the season Wednesday June 2nd at home against the Clarinda A’s.
