Chillicothe Fire Fighters responded to a house fire Sunday, on Route U, west of Chillicothe. The call came in at about 11:30 am and the firefighters arrived in about 13 minutes to find heavy smoke conditions. Building ventilated and a hose line was used on the main fire found in the kitchen and the fire that extended to attic space. Approximately 1250 gallons of water used.
No one was injured in the incident. The fire was determined to be electrical.
The fire crew was on the scene for about 90 minutes.
