The emergency repairs for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad on Highway 11 in Brookfield have been postponed. The railroad notified MoDOT of the change of plans, but has not provided a new date for the road closure.
When rescheduled, Highway 11 will close from Boston Street to Helm Street, around-the-clock, for approximately one week. During the closure, the railroad will direct motorists over a detour on Business U.S. 36, Pershing Road and Pratt Road.
