Governor Parson Visit North Missouri

Missouri Governor Mike Parson traveled to North Missouri Thursday to sign two items.  The first stop was Milan for the signing of a Resolution to provide funding the East Locust Creek Reservoir project.  The governor talked about the importance of this type of project that will provide drinking water to a large part of northern Missouri.

Parson says this type of infrastructure is every bit as important as roads and power.

Parson then traveled to Trenton for the signing of HB 574, which Prohibits the inspection of certain grounds or facilities in Missouri, including farms, without proper authorization.

Parson says Missouri is in the Top 10 in nearly every category of agriculture and it needs to be protected.
