Troopers Report One Accident and Two Arrests

A two-vehicle accident in Chariton County left one driver with minor injuries.  State Troopers report the accident happened around midday on Salisbury Road, three miles east of Salisbury, as 80-year-old Donna Widmer of Salisbury was southbound and failed to yield to a westbound vehicle driven by 73-year-old Gary Grigsby of Salisbury at the T-Intersection.  Grigsby suffered minor injuries and was taken to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.  Both drivers were wearing safety belts.

 

Two arrests are in the report.

In Linn County at about 12:17 this morning, Troopers arrested 34-year-old Cecil Campbell of Boonville on a Howard County warrant for alleged fishing without a permit.  He was held at the Marceline Police Department pending the posting of bond.

Monday at about 7:56 pm, Troopers in Linn County arrested 50-year-old Todd Bowen of Laclede for alleged DWI and speeding.  He was processed and released.
