Four New Officers, Including Three Academy Graduates

The Chillicothe Police Department welcomes four new police officers this week.  Chillicothe Police Chief Jon Maples, Officer Matt McCurry, and Officer Amanda Bowlen attended the graduation ceremony at the Central Missouri Police Academy for Officer Collin Goodsell, Officer Josh Charlton, and Officer Xavier Stein

In addition, the department recently hired Officer Billy Reynolds, who comes to Chillicothe from Lexington, Missouri.

All four began a full week of training, certifications, qualifications, and policy review. They will then go with their field training officers for 3-4 months of field training so they can learn how to properly serve the community.

Chief Maples says all four are excited to make Chillicothe their home.
