The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 94 calls for service Monday. Some of the calls include:
1:01 AM, Officers responded to an alarm in the 900 block of S Washington Street. Officers arrived to find a man running out of the back of the business and into a wooded area. Officers attempted to locate the subject with assistance from the Linn County Sheriff’s K9 unit. The suspect has not been located at this time.
3:14 PM, Officers assisted a motorist who had lost a load from their vehicle on Polk Street near Bridge Street.
6:42 pm Officers took a report of stealing in the 700 block of Samuel Street. Investigation is ongoing.
11:05 PM, Officers while on patrol, observed a broken window at a business in the 300 block of S Washington Street. The owner was contacted and made aware of the damage. The owner was aware and has plans to fix the window. Criminal activity was not suspected.
