Chillicothe Police Report For Monday, July 5th

The Chillicothe Police Department report for Monday includes 89 calls for service.  Those calls include:

In the overnight hours, Officers handled several reports of fireworks violations.  They contacted many residents about the violations and advised them of the ordinance.  Most were issued warnings, a couple were cited after a second complaint was received.

12:25 PM, Officer responded to the 800 block of Samuel for a report of a suspicious person.  The person was located and chose to leave the area.

7:06 PM, Officers responded to a business in the 1000 block of South Washington on a report of trespassing. The person left before officers arrived.

9:13 PM, Officers called to a business in the 1000 block of Graves for a person trespassing and causing a disturbance.  The person was contacted and had previously been trespassed.  Th4e person was arrested for trespassing, peace disturbance, and making a terroristic threat.  They were held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail pending the filing of formal charges.  The person also had warrants out of Independence and Blue Springs.
