The weather may change some of the plans for Chillicothe Sliced Bread Saturday, but the schedule for the day is pretty full.
At 8:00 am is a Color Fest 5K Run/Walk, starting and ending at the YMCA.
The Sliced Bread Innovation Center will have an open House from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm
The Sliced Bread Contest begins with turn-in from 8:00 to 11:00 at Grand River Historical Society Museum and judging to follow. Winners will be announced at 2:00 and a tasting will be available at that time.
The Downtown Festival begins at 9:00
The Sliced Day Parade is at 10:00, with Missouri’s First Lady Thersa Parson as Grand Marshall
The Sliced Bread Jam at the Performing Arts Center is at 3:00, featuring Southern Raised
At 7:00 pm is the Slice of Home Concert at the Sliced Bread Innovation Center, featuring homegrown musicians.
