Chillicothe Police Report For The Weekend

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 46 calls for service Sunday.  Some of the calls include:

Sunday,
1:17 PM, Officers received a report of harassment in the 1500 block of Bryan Street.  A suspect has been identified and charges are pending.

7:38 PM, Officers received a report of alleged child abuse in the 300 block of Jackson Street.  Investigation continues.

8:22 PM, Officers called to a business in the 300 block of Locust Street regarding a suspicious vehicle on the property.  The vehicle was removed from the property at the property owner’s request.

9:35 PM, Officers spoke with subject in the 600 block of Walnut regarding a report of alleged child abuse that occurred in another jurisdiction.  Subject was advised to report the incident to the proper jurisdiction.

Saturday, officers responded to 59 calls for service.  Some of the calls include

2:11am, Officer called to assist MSHP with a vehicle that had refused to stop and the driver abandoned the vehicle…..The driver eventually surrendered to Officers…..

11:44am, Officers received a report of a hit & run accident.  The victim stated that on May 12th

1:07pm, Officers received a report of a bicycle being stolen from a resident in the 800 block of Broadway Street…..Investigation continuing….

2:54pm, Officers dispatched to the 900 block of Elm Street for an unruly juvenile….Subject was brought to the PD and Juvenile Officer contacted…..Subject eventually returned to parent….

7:44pm, Officer responded to location just west of US 65 on US 36 where a vehicle had gone off the roadway and was stuck in the median…..
