Weather Forecast Improved For Car Show

The Weatherman is smiling on Chillicothe and the annual Car Show and the rain in the forecast for any part of the next couple of days is gone.

The 33rd annual Chillicothe Lion’s Club Car Show begins tonight with the cruize night in Downtown Chillicothe.

That is Kim Bloss, one of the car show organizers,  she says the cars begin to gather as soon as the streets are closed, but officially things begin at 7:00 pm.  The cruize leaves from downtown about 7:30 and will travel north to the nursing homes and back to the downtown area.  The event continues until 10:00, with vendors and music.

Saturday, the Carshow begins with the swap meet at 6:00 am.  Bloss says the registration begins at 7:00.

There will be drawings, including one that is part of a fundraiser that makes a donation to the Chillicothe Parks.

She says they will have several plaques presented.  The public is invited to come out and check out the cars.
