Three Accidents – Three Injured

Three accidents in the area counties over the weekend left three people injures.

Saturday at about 4:00 pm in Grundy County, 20-year-old Jacob Graham of Mercer had moderate injuries when he was ejected from his motorcycle after a mattress blew out of a pick-up and landed hi his path.   State Troopers report Jacob Graham was northbound on US 65, a half-mile north of Trenton, when the mattress blew out of the truck driven by 20-year-old Sean Graham of Mercer.  Sean Graham was not injured.  Jacob Graham was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital with moderate injures.  He was not wearing a helmet.

Sunday at about 6:20 am in Dekalb County, 37-year-old Heather McLean of Chillicothe was injured when she was westbound on US 36 near Osborn and ran off the north side of the road and struck an embankment.  McLean was wearing a safety belt and was taken to Mosiac Life Care in St. Joseph for treatment of minor injuries.

At about 9:30 pm Sunday in Clinton County, An accident on Interstate 35, south of Cameron, left a Hamilton driver with minor injuries.  According to the Highway Patrol, 20-year-old Kellie Berry of Hamilton was northbound and ran into the back of another northbound vehicle, driven by a Cameron woman.  Berry was taken to Liberty Hospital for treatment.  She was wearing a safety belt.  The other driver was not injured.
