The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 68 calls for service Wednesday. Some of the calls include:
6:12am, Fraud report in the 500 block of W. Business 36. Counterfeit bill passed at business. Description of suspect obtained.
7:43 am, Item in the roadway at Rosewood Lane and Woodrow Street. Officers located and removed the item from the roadway.
11:25 am, Officers responded to the 1400 block of Burnam Road for a theft report.
6:01 pm, Officer received a report over the phone of a dog bite that occurred in the 300 block of Henry Street. The investigation is continuing.
6:27 pm, Officers out in the 100 block of E. Second Street to issue citations for dog licensing violations.
6:56 pm, Officers out in the 300 block of Henry Street on a continuing investigation into a dog bite incident.
7:12 pm, Officer took a report of hit and run accident on a parking lot in 1000 block of Graves Street.
11:09 pm, Traffic complaint of vehicle with tailgate down and protruding into street traffic in area of Bryan and Miller Street. The owner was contacted and moved the truck.
