The official ribbon-cutting for the Lillian DesMarias Youth Library is today. Library Director Candy Warren says the event starts at 5:30 and runs until 7:00 p.m. Warren says the event was delayed for a bit.
Warren says this will be held outside and will kick off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by guided tours, food, games, and prizes. In addition to library staff, the event will be attended by library board and trust members, members of the Chamber of Commerce, Rotary members, and they also have a special guest planned for the event.
