Livingston County Sheriff’s Incident and Arrest Report

Several incidents and arrests are in the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department report since Mid July.

July 13th  Deputies has spent time investigating a burglary and theft of firearms from an incident on June 21st.  The deputies worked with Grundy County authorities.  One person was arrested on a probation/parole warrant and one of the alleged stolen firearms was recovered. The investigation remains active.

July 14th deputies began an investigation of burglary and theft in the area of LIV 210 and LIV 251. Several items were reported stolen sometime between May 30th and July 14th.  Investigation continues.

July 16th at 9:53 p.m. a resident in the 8000 block of LIV 508 reported his two 5 gallon jugs of gas had been emptied while he had been in town.  Neighbors reported seeing a specific vehicle arrive on the property.  Investigation continues.

Other Arrests:

July 13th, 24-year-old Joseph Ray Buckner Jr of Trenton surrendered on a Livingston County warrant for alleged Domestic Assault-4th degree.  He was released on bond.

July 13th, deputies extradited 40-year-old Jeremiah Wayne Johnson of Brookfield from the Linn County Sheriff on Livingston County warrant for alleged Probation Violation on original class E felony Non-Support, Total Arrears in Excess of 12 Monthly Payments. He was then taken to Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.

July 13th, deputies extradited 25-year-old Shelby Bonea of St. Joseph from the Platte County Sheriff on Livingston County warrant for alleged Domestic assault.  She was transferred to Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.

July 13th, deputies extradited 23-year-old Mitchell James Lewis from the Clay County Sheriff on Livingston County warrant for alleged Failure to Appear in Court on Driving While Suspended/Revoked allegation.  He was transferred to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.

July 18th, 29-year-old Avery Elizabeth Mock of Spickard surrendered on a Livingston County warrant for alleged failure to appear on a speeding citation.  She posted bond,

July 19th, deputies served a Livingston County arrest warrant on 41-year-old Norman Justin Caselman of Hale for alleged Violation of Order of Protection for Adult.  He was released on bond.

A traffic stop on a vehicle that appeared the driver was very sleepy or intoxicated resulted in the arrest of 23-year-old Vanessa Gonzalez Santos of Olathe Kansas on two Polk County warrants for alleged Excessive Speed and No Valid Driver’s License.  She posted the $600 bond.
