Chillicothe’s Weekend Police Report

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 214 calls for service from Friday to Sunday.

Friday, there were 111 calls for service, including:

8:11 AM, Officers responded to a report of a burglary at a business in the 600 block of First Street.  A suspect has been identified and charges are pending.

8:41 AM, Officers responded to a report of a burglary at a business in the 900 block of North Washington.  Investigation continues.

12:44 PM, Officer received a report of property damage in the 200 block of Jackson Street.

2:15 PM, Officer received a report of a stolen vehicle in the 200 block of Second Street.  Investigation continues.

6:50 PM, Officer received a report of theft in the 1000 block of Polk Street.

8:04 PM, Officer responded to a two vehicle non-injury accident at Third Street and Hickory Street.  Officer advised one vehicle failed to yield at an intersection striking another vehicle.  Driver was cited for failing to yield resulting in an accident.

Saturday, there were 44 calls for service

2:56 AM, Officer located open door to a business in the 500 block of Locust Street.  Business was secured after officer check the business.

3:14 AM, Officer advised vehicle reported stolen on 08/20 was recovered near Kansas City by Highway Patrol Troop A.

7:20 AM, Officer arrested a woman in the 900 block of Polk Street for trespassing.  She was later transported to the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail on prior pending charges.

8:51 PM, Officer assisted Livingston County Children’s Division in the 1000 block of South Washington Street on a child abuse investigation.

8:51 PM, Officers responded to a disturbance in the 1700 block of Hickory.  Officers arrested a woman on a prior property damage investigation.  The female was processed at the police department, cited, and released.

9:10 PM, Officer received a report of property damage to a fence in the 10 block of Webster Street.

9:54 PM, Officers received a report of theft from a business in the 2600 block of north Washington Street.  Investigation continues.

Sunday, there were 59 calls for service.

6:04 AM, Officer responded to the 10 block of East Bridge to a report of an animal complaint.  Animal was turned over to local Veterinarian.

6:12 PM, Officer received a report of property damage in the 600 block of West Business 36.  Investigation continues.
