Penney High of Hamilton has a new football coach this season. Coach Alexander Lloyd grew up in Southern Illinois and has coached at Princeton and Farmington prior to accepting the Hamilton job.
Lloyd says part of his decision was the community.
Lloyd says he inherited a great coaching staff that helped him build on the current program.
Penney of Hamilton opens their season hosting Lafayette County-Higginsville on Friday.
