Two Arrested In Chillicothe Following Traffic Stop

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 119 calls for service Monday.  Some of the calls included animal complaints and reports of suspicious activity.

10:15 am, Officers were called fo a report of stolen property in the 700 block of Cowgill St.  Officers located the property and it was returned.

4:21 pm, Officers took a report of fraud in the 1000 block of Graves St.  The investigation continues.

10:54 pm. Officers arrested a 39-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man for Parole Violation warrants.  The arrests followed a traffic stop at S. Washington St. and US 36 westbound exit ramp.  Both were also arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.  The man was also arrested for alleged driving without a valid driver’s license, failure to register a motor vehicle, and no proof of insurance.  Both were processed and taken to the Daviess-DeKalb County Regional jail and held on the no-bond warrants.
