Chillicothe Police Report For Thursday

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 113 calls for service Thursday.  Some of the calls included dog complaints, well-being checks, and noise complaints.

8:00 am, An individual turned themselves in at the Police Department on an active Livingston County warrant for a probation violation.  They were unable to post bond and were taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.

8:52 am, Officers responded to the 400 block of Monroe to serve an arrest warrant.   Officers arrested a man who was later transported to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.

9:33 am, Officers were at an undisclosed location to attempt warrant service.

2:15 pm, Subject calling about possible Code violation at home in the 1100 block of Calhoun Street.  Information was taken and officers will contact Code Enforcement.

2:43 pm, Officers at 1000 block of Graves Street with Juvenile issue.  The youth was brought to PD and Juvenile Officer and Child Services were contacted.  The Juvenile was eventually placed in the care of a relative.

2:59 pm, Officer assisting Sheriff’s Department with warrant service in Wheeling.

4:33 pm, Officer assisting Children’s Services on call in the 1000 block of Grandview Avenue.

6:26 pm, Officer taking a call about the possible theft of a firearm.  Investigation continuing.

6:45 pm, Officer out at Clay Street Park for damage to playground equipment and recovering a pair of glasses.  A plexiglass panel had been damaged and removed from the playground equipment.  Glasses were taken to PD.

9:25 pm, Officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation near Third and Washington Street.  Officers found the driver was driving while revoked.  That person was transported to the PD, processed, and released with a citation.
