Hirings and promotions were handled by the Chillicothe City Council Monday.
For the Fire Department, The council approved adding an additional Pay-By-Call Firefighter position and they hired Hollie Anderson for the position.
The council approved hiring two Dispatchers for the 911 center, they include Casey McCollum and Carrie Algozzini.
For the Police Department, Chief Maples requested two temporary promotions, both are through March of 2022. Kami Nelson is a Temporary Detective and Matthew McCurry is a Temporary Sargent.
