The 36th annual Chautauqua in the Park will be next Saturday, September 11th, the 20th anniversary of the attacks on our country. The Chillicothe Area Arts Council will begin the entertainment at Chautauqua will a 911 Tribute. Arts Council Director Marylou Vandeventer explains.
Vandeventer says this is open to all past and present military.
The ruck march will begin at the LIVCOVA Veterans Building at 6:00 am and continue on a designated route to the Country Club Drive entrance of Simpson Park. Those with questions should contact Sergeant First Class Holmes at 660-707-0597
Vandeventer says after arriving at Simpson Park, they will join others at the entertainment stage.
The public is encouraged to attend the tribute on September 11th at the stage for Chautauqua. The tribute in the park will begin at 9:30 am.
