The Chillicothe Middle School softball teams swept Penny in their opening games of the season.
The Chillicothe A team won 16-0, scoring four in the first, two in the second and ten runs in the third. Bryleigh Gillespie had a home run and single, Charley Peniston had a home run, Fleener had a triple and a double, Hope Donoho had two doubles, Jalen Rodenberg had a home run and double, Maicee Albrecht and Lydia Bonderer both had doubles and Landry Marsh had a single and a double.
First names were not provided.
The CMS B-Team also won 12-6.
