The 2 and 0 Chillicothe Hornets football team opens conference play at home Friday when they take on Maryville, which will play their third straight game somewhere other than their home stadium.
Maryville Coach Matt Webb says his team is led by eight Seniors.
Maryville stands at 0-2 but Chillicothe Coach Chad Smith says the losses were to a couple of very good teams.
Friday’s game will be the Midland Empire Conference opener for both teams. Kick Off at Jerry Litton Memorial Stadium is 7:00 pm Friday.
