The Chillicothe Varsity Volleyball team finished Second, and their Junior Varsity team finished fourth in the Annual Chillicothe Tournament on Saturday.
Chillicothe Varsity opened pool play with wins over Penney of Hamilton 25-13 and 25-14. They beat Excelsior Springs 26-24 and 25-22 then beat Richmond 25-11 and 25-13 to win their pool.
In the other pool, the Chillicothe Junior Varsity team beat the Varsity teams from Brookfield 25-11, 25-16 and Carrollton 25-22 and 25-23 to finish second place in their pool play.
In the tournament semi-finals the Hornet Varsity beat their own Junior Varsity team 22-25, 25-17 and 25-13.
In the Tournament Championship the Hornets Varsity lost to Bishop LeBlond 19-25 ad 21-25.
The Chillicothe Junior Varsity finished Fourth after losing to Excelsior Springs 18-25 and 14-25
Leading the Chillicothe Varsity were Gracie West with 22 kills and 4 blocks, Delanie Kieffer with 17 aces, Jessica Reeter with 26 assists and 8 digs, and Anna Fisher with 4 blocks.
Statistics were not provided for the Chillicothe Junior Varsity games.
