Chillicothe Police Report For Tuesday

Chillicothe Police responded to 119 calls for service Tuesday.

3:46 am, Officers stopped a vehicle on Westbound US 36 for a traffic violation.  The 31-year-old driver from Joliet, Illinois was cited for No driver’s license, processed, and released.

5:10 am, Officers responded to the intersection of US 65 and BUS. 36 HWY for a two-vehicle crash without injuries.   One driver was cited for failure to stop at a red light and given a must appear municipal court date.

8:22 am, Officers responded to the 2500 block of Fairview Street, for a domestic disturbance.  A 29-year-old was arrested for domestic assault, transported to the Police Department.  They were cited for Domestic Assault 4th Degree.

3:02 pm, Officer responded to the 100 block of Herriford Street on a report of two dogs fighting.  Officer investigated and issued a dog owner three citations.

4:01 pm, Officers took a report of 2 stolen Missouri License plates from the 1100 block of Smith Street.   The investigation continues.

5:10 pm, Subject reporting theft of Mini-bike from the 300 block of Mansur Street.

9:30 pm, Officers made a traffic stop in the area of 3rd Street and Woodrow Avenue for failure to display license plates.   The driver had an active warrant out of Grundy County and was arrested.   They posted bond and were released
