Chappell’s Retirement Date Moved To December 15th

The resignation of Chillicothe City Administrator Darin Chappell was moved up three months.  Chappell submitted his letter of resignation to Mayor Thersa Kelly on Friday, setting the effective date as December 15th.  Chappell cited finding himself “incapable of devoting the time and attention to the City, my family, and my future endeavors, sufficiently for all concerned.”

Chappell had originally planned to retire on March 22nd.

Chillicothe is currently seeking a new city administrator, deadline for resumes is November 19th, more information is available on the City’s website
