Weekend Chillicothe Police Report

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 255 calls for service for Friday through Sunday.  Some of the calls include:

Friday, October 15th

8:58 a.m., Officers took a report of shoplifting in the 1000 block of Graves St.  The investigation is on-going.

9:53 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle non-injury traffic crash in the 1200 block of N. Washington St.  The parties involved agreed to exchange information and no report was filed.

10:44 a.m., Officers took a report at the Police Department of stealing/fraud.  The investigation is on-going.

3:18 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a three-vehicle non-injury traffic crash on in the 400 block of N. Washington St.  Minor damage was reported.

4:30 p.m., Officers executed a search warrant in the 300 block of W. Bus. 36 Hwy. following an investigation.  Officers seized items of evidence for the reported offense.

Saturday, October 16th

11:28 a.m., Officers were dispatched to possible illegal burning in the 1100 block of Smith St.  Officers responded and contacted the parties involved informing them of the City Ordinance pertaining to burning.

1:21 p.m., Officers took a report of child abuse/neglect in the 2300 block of Fair St.  The investigation is on-going.  Officers were assisted by the Livingston County Children’s Division.

3:51 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a bicyclist who was chased by dogs and dropped their property at Third St. and Grandview Ave.  Officers responded and assisted the bicyclist to retrieve their property.  The owner of the dogs was contacted and advised of the incident.  The owner secured the dogs.

Sunday, October 17th

2:45 p.m., Officers recovered abandoned property in the 200 block of Crescent Dr.

10:55 p.m., Officers received information of possible drug activity.  Officers took the information for an investigation.

11:44 p.m., Officers were dispatched to people at Danner Park after hours.  Officers responded, contacted them, and advised them of the park hours.  They left without incident.
