The MSHSAA Golf Championships for Class 1 and 2 are complete.
In Class 2 for Chillicothe, Skylar Powers finished tied for 46th place with rounds of 96 & 109. Izzy Montgomery tied for 69th place with rounds of 121 and 111.
79 Golfers competed in Class 2. A Marshfield golfer was the individual champion with rounds of 72 and 79.
In Class 1 Visitation Academy won the team title and a New Covenant Academy was top individual with a pair of 86’s. Brookfield finished 6th out of 9 teams. Mallory McCabe led the team, tying for 24th place. Scarlet Polson was 44th, Carly Clarkson was 51st, Ella Thompson was 64th
Individual area golfers included Tess Caroline Sheerman of Marceline tied for 5th place.
Elle Copple of Gallatin tied for 33rd, and Courtney Crose tied for 78th.
