Two Accidents In The Area Counties

State Troopers investigated two accidents in the area counties Tuesday

A three-vehicle accident, south of Carrollton, left two drivers injured.  The accident happened at about 5:00 pm at US 65 and Route B, as 28-year-old Cedrick R White of Carrollton was northbound and crossed the centerline, hitting a southbound vehicle pulling a trailer, driven by 38-year-old Christopher Flick of Odessa and then hitting a southbound semi driven by 42-year-old Marcus V Davis of Odessa.

The report states Flick’s truck ran off the left side of the road and became disconnected from its trailer before overturning.  The semi ran off the road.

White had minor injuries in the accident and was treated at Carroll County Memorial Hospital.  Davis had moderate injuries and was taken to Center Point Hospital for treatment.  Neither was wearing a safety belt.  Flick was wearing a safety belt and was not injured.

At 6:10 pm in Daviess County, a single-vehicle accident happened on Interstate 35 near Pattonsburg.  According to the report, 32-year-old Rubiluz Gordon of Minnesota was southbound and was forced off the road by a semi, went into the median, and her car partially overturned.  The driver had moderate injuries and her passenger, a 10-year-old boy, had minor injuries.  They were wearing safety belts.  Both were taken to Liberty Hospital.
